Black Soldier Fly Larvae

Black Soldier Fly Larvae have a high calcium content in comparison to many other live feeders.

• These larvae have the ability to help prevent Metabolic Bone Disease, which is caused by a calcium deficiency, in reptiles and amphibians.
• A great added bonus is that these feeders require minimal care!
• These feeders do not need to be fed to stay alive, don't make noise, and give off no odors!
• Keep at room temperature, and add a few drops of water when the provided substrate becomes dry.
• If you plan to use the larvae after two weeks or later, store them in a closed lid container (with some ventilation) in a cool place (NOT in standard refrigerator!) 50-55°F degrees is ideal. Allow them to warm up at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes before feeding to your animal.
